GNLW554-VFD Decanter Centrifuge for Overseas Glucose Syrup Clarification Project

Recently, GN Separation has fabricated a decanter centrifuge for an overseas client whose work is for glucose syrup clarification. This centrifuge’s model is GNLW554-VFD, with following specifications and features:

1. Big bowl centrifuge with a bowl diameter of 550mm, which equals to 22 inch. And the bowl length is 2310mm, equal to 91 inch.

2. High speed centrifuge, with bowl speed up to 3150RPM, generating a max G force to 3051G.

3. GNLW554 decanter centrifuge has a length-diameter ratio of 4.2,which is large enough for a enough time for clean treatment.

4. A VFD control panel is included in the centrifuge supply, which is equipped with three VFD’s respectively for the main motor, back motor and the feeding pump.

Other features especially for this order:

1. This GNLW554 Decanter Centrifuge’s bowl and propeller are made of SS2205 duplex stainless steel and the collection box is made of SS316L.

2. Centrifuge’s propeller’s blades are polished, instead of bead weld or tiles in order to meet the special requests for food industry.

3. Sealing parts for this centrifuge are made of flororubber.

What equipment GN will bring to this Exhibition?

1. Mini Decanter Centrifuge GNLW223. GN has been a decanter centrifuge manufacturer for more than 15 years. In GN factory, there is a workshop used especially for decanter centrifuges. In this workshop, GN has a five axis machining center and two sets of dynamic balancing machines, a middle speed one and a high speed one. For all the centrifuge rotating parts, like the propeller and the rotating bowl, will be tested by dynamic balancing machines separately and after assembled together.
GN manufactures various centrifuges models, and this centrifuge GNLW223 is the smallest model.

2. Vacuum pump GNSP-10. It is a compact vacuum pump model, also the smallest model among the 3 models GN makes. 3 Pacakge Drilling Rig Solids Control Equipment for South America Customer

Solids Control system is an essential part of a drilling rig system, which is used for remove the drilling cuttings from the expensive drilling mud. In this way, the clean mud can be returned to the drilling procedure and to be reused. On the other hand, it is also protecting the environment by discharge less waste.
In a complete drilling solids control system, there should be shale shakers, mud cleaner, decanter centrifuge of middle speed, decanter centrifuge of high speed and the feeding pumps for the mud cleaner and centrifuges.
Just recently, GN Solids Control, the leading manufacturer in China in solids control industry, has provided a client from South America totally 3 sets of solids control equipment, including following:

1. shale shakers with model GNZS594J for 3 packages, totally 12 sets.
2. Mud cleaner, GNZJ594J-3S16N, each rig system need 1 set of mud cleaner to play the roles for desander and desilter cones.
3. Centrifugal pumps for desander and desilter cones, they are same as mission magnum centrifugal pumps.
4. Middle speed decanter centrifuge for each package, with model GNLW363D-GP.
5. High speed decanter centrifuge for each package, with model GNLW363D-VFD.

Functions of each equipment: in fact, the solids control system are used for removing the drilling cuttings from the mud in a physical way, which means, each step of separation is based on the drilling cuttings’ particle sizes. The shale shakers are used to remove the most particles larger than 100 microns. Desander and desilter are working with centrifugal force generated by the cyclones’ structure, and their cuttings points are respectively 40 and 20 microns. The middle speed centrifuge are used for removal of particles from 5 to 7 microns, which here means barite recovery. And the high speed centrifuges are used for removing particles from 2 to 5 microns, extra fine ones.

35000bbl Liquid Mud Plant for International Drilling fluids Service Company

There was a big day in last week for both GN and GN’s client who purchased such a big liquid mud plant, cause all those 70 units of mud tanks were transported to the loading port from GN factory located near Beijing City. It was the repeated order from the client since he issued a trial purchase of 15 sets of tanks in last year. He was happy to see the high quality from a responsible manufacturer.

This client’s business is in field of drilling fluids service, by collecting the used drilling fluids, recycling the useful portions and getting the fluids to be well prepared for new projects. He has a huge space for storage and in need of huge mud tanks and necessary equipment for separation. GN Solids Control provides him a turn-key solution with following equipment:

1. For drilling fluids separation: client chose 3 main equipment from GN product gallery for his drilling fluids separation: GNZS594 shale shaker, GNLW452D middle speed centrifuge and GNLW363C high speed centrifuge. GNZS594 is a linear motional shale shaker with 4 pieces of shaker screens. GNLW452 is a big bowl centrifuge with middle speed, that is used for barite recovery or to choose out the particles between 5 to seven microns. And the high speed centrifuge with a rotation speed upto 3900RPM, it is for fine and extra fine particles from 2 to 5 microns.

2. If the separation equipment are used for moving out, the mixing units could be regarded the facilities for adding in. This system contains 4 sets of mud mixing hoppers with jet mud mixing centrifugal pumps for adding in the useful chemicals when preparing the drilling fluids.
