GN Solids Control has recently completed and shipped four custom\u2011built skid\u2011mounted drilling mud tank\u2011cleaning wastewater treatment units for an African oil\u2011gas client, delivering a turn\u2011key solution targeting this exact pain point.<\/p>\n

This integrated system consists of feeding pump, pre\u2011separation tank, chemical dosing package, decanter centrifuge, clean water tank, control cabinet and all connecting pipelines. All core components are mounted on heavy\u2011duty skids for easy transportation between scattered well sites. The whole unit adopts continuous treatment process: oily wastewater from mud tank washing first enters pre\u2011separation compartment to remove large solids. After chemical conditioning, the fluid flows into the GNLW decanter centrifuge, which efficiently separates fine solids and free oil from water.<\/p>\n

The system implements mature three\u2011phase separation technology to handle tank\u2011cleaning sewage mixed with oil, fine drilling solids and residual mud. It separates oil phase, solid sediments and reusable water simultaneously. Recovered water can be circulated back for repeated site usage, drastically cutting fresh\u2011water consumption. Dewatered solid residues are ready for compliant haul\u2011off, lowering hazardous\u2011waste transport volumes and overall operational expenditure.<\/p>\n

Each unit is pre\u2011optimized for harsh African field conditions: high temperature, heavy dust and unstable on\u2011site power supply. Explosion\u2011proof electrical options are available for hazardous zone applications. It can connect seamlessly with customers\u2019 existing mud\u2011tank cleaning workflow without major modification to current facilities.<\/p>\n
